Dreamscaping is a guided ideation workshop — a place to check in, quiet the noise, and listen to what’s stirring beneath the surface. This is for people who are busy, capable, and sensing they’re on the edge of something — a transition, an opening, a shift they can’t quite name yet. Dreamscaping is a practice of staying in relationship with yourself and your dreams for yourself, your community, the world — naming threads you can return to and pull on when things feel unclear. This particular workshop isn’t about goal-setting or fixing. It’s an essential practice of reflection, imagination, and listening.
Hosted by Leah Lavelle and Ashlee Zlatna

Join us for a natural plant dye workshop in Portland, Oregon to experience petals to pigment. In this space you will learn about what and where to forage; fall is a plentiful time for dyers, while the leaves are filled with natural tannins and flowers are absorbing in the sun’s last rays, holding their color.
In this workshop, you will learn how to prepare fabric for receiving dye, create your own dye lake, and watch the alchemy of dyeing a white piece of silk to color, happen. We will extend an invitation of reflection on the lands we gather on and what these plants foraged are teaching us.
Our focus will be on local plants and the protein fabric, silk. You will leave with recipes on how to do this process yourself, a large mason jar for dyeing, and a few swatches of your own dyed fabric from the workshop.
Hosted by Leah Lavelle at Make Fun Studios. Our guide will be artist, Ashlee Zlatna.
Bring: your smart phone, a sketch journal, two paper or plastic bags, optional: gloves and a knife for cutting foliage.
You’ll leave with a dye bath jar and recipe.
